SRS Quiz Night

A fun night was had by all at the now annual club quiz night. As well as the usual rounds, for which I apologise for having a few too many Disney

themed questions, we also had a heads or tails game and a raffle, all for £10

a head. Not bad for a Saturday night out with the Sisters.

The added fun task in the evening was the best decorated table competition.

The themes chosen were Moana, Snoopy, afternoon tea, model trains,

Mickey Mouse and sea swimming – with some of the tables whole

heartedly embracing the challenge. The Salty Sisters took home the

prize – and it definitely had nothing to do with Jo buying chips for me

and Lee!

It was a close-run night with three teams finishing with the same points,

but the ultimate champions were ‘These are big shrimps’ (named after

the sweets on the table) who were led by our very own Sian Brett.

The event raised just over £100 for the club which helps us keep the

costs down of other events including Twixmas.

We’d love to see even more Sisters teams next year – remember you

can bring friends, co-workers and/or family.

The more teams we have, the more fun it is and I promise to hold back on the Disney and Australia themed questions next time
